 A vote was taken by the WARTS Board of Directors in accordance to paragraph 3.1.2 of the WARTS by-Laws to appoint a new net manager.  The net Manager's responsibilities are listed in Paragraph 3.2 of the By-Laws.  

The Board of Directors announces the appointment of Marv KE7DVV to the position of WARTS Net Manager.  He was picked from a field of five candidates.  Thanks to all, for their interest in supporting our net. Marv will take over as Net Manager the first of June.  

Many thanks to Don, W7GB for his service as Net Manager for 20 years.  

The Board will be looking for candidates from the North East and South West sections of  Washington for the Board of Directors soon, as required by the Constitution and By-Laws.
